SECURITY POLICY

Website security
All Revilo Toys online purchases take place in a safe environment using the latest security technology to protect our customers.

We encrypt your credit card information to ensure your transactions with us are private and protected as they travel over the Internet. We accept orders only from Web browsers that permit communication through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology - this means you cannot inadvertently place an order through an unsecured connection. Most web browsers above version 3 support this security. (There is no need to worry about your web browser being above version 3, simply proceed with the selection and order process, if everything goes through smoothly, as it most likely will, then your web browser is compatable).

Payment Security
We use Protx as our Payment Service Provider, thousands of businesses outsource their transaction security to Protx. It is their top priority to ensure that transaction data is kept secure at all times. As a result, they have grown to become the largest independent Payment Service Provider in the country.

Transaction security
All transaction information passed between our site and the Protx VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to our servers from Protx are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing we pass to the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Encryption and Data Storage
Once on Protx systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data Protx holds is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

Links to banks
Protx has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.

Employee access

No individuals within Protx are able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Protx systems only allow access to their most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). Our transaction information and your card information are secure even form Protx and Revilo Toys own employees because their and our systems never display the full card numbers, even on administration screens.

Zone 1: £5.95 - England, Wales, parts of Scotland

Zone 1 (24hr): £8.95 - England, Wales, parts of Scotland

Zone 2: £13.00 - Highlands and Islands (Highlands and Islands of Scotland postcodes include: IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE).

Zone 3: £16.50 - Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scillies (Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly postcodes include: BT, IM, TR21-25).

For this delivery charge we are able to offer you Registered delivery on all orders regardless of size and weight. We want your order to arrive on time and as it left us, we also want to know your parcel has arrived safe and sound. If things do go astray, we want to know where, and with our service we can track it, chase it, and get it to you as quickly as possible.

We aim to get Standard orders out to you in as shorter time as possible.* As standard, every parcel we send out will go via Parcelforce 48hr (For some smaller / Lighter parcels we also use Royal Mail's "Signed For" Service, we have found that this service has proven very reliable) . Our collections are usually around 2pm on weekdays (no weekend collections or deliveries) and if orders are received before this time you will get them 48 hrs later. If an order is received after 2pm then it will leave us the following day.

24hr Delivery: If we receive your order before 2pm (Monday to Thursday) you will receive it the following day. Orders received by 2pm on a Friday will arrive the following Monday. (Please note: if for any reason we are unable to deliver your order in accordance with the above guidelines, we will contact you, tell you why and confirm you still want to go ahead with a later delivery.

IF YOU HAVE AN IMPORTANT OCCASION, PLEASE CONTACT US, WE CAN ARRANGE FOR WEEKEND DELIVERY FOR AN EXTRA CHARGE.

Following last years problems in the postal service, we now use Parcelforce** Registered Delivery for every single order (For some smaller / Lighter parcels we also use Royal Mail's "Signed For" Service, we have found that this service has proven very reliable). In doing this we can offer a fixed price to our customers of £5.95 regardless of the parcel size or weight. Our research has shown that most of our much larger competitors offer standard delivery for £4.95. So for an extra £1 we can offer you a traceable, reliable delivery service which allows us and you the comfort of knowing that goods are insured whilst in transit and confirmation that your parcel has been delivered successfully, peace of mind all round, just the way we like it!

*(Whilst we make every effort not to run out of stock and to deliver your order as quickly as possible, we cannot guarantee the availability of all our products. Unlike many companies, we actually hold our own stock. We try hard not to run out of stock and monitor levels constantly, unfortunately, we are not always able to predict how popular individual products will be and simply cannot afford to buy in infinite amounts of everything. Good wooden toys also take time to make and we import them from all over the world, because of this, delivery times can be vague and sometimes things we are promised do not arrive when they should. We will of course do everything possible to keep you informed if there is a problem or a delay in dispatching your order, advising you of expected delivery dates and giving you the option of a full refund if the expected delivery dates are not suitable for you.

ASSUMING WE HAVE WHAT YOU WANT, WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO MEET YOUR NEEDS. WE HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT IF WE HAVE TO INCUR EXTRA COSTS TO DO THIS, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PAY FOR THEM. **(Parcelforce is run separately from Royal Mail and has had no part in recent strikes, for them it has remained business as usual and we have been assured this will remain the case).


GUARANTEE AND RETURNS POLICY

Our no fuss guarantee:
You can return your order for any reason, at any time within 7 days of receipt, for a full refund or exchange. The item or items being returned must be in exactly the same condition you received them and both the product and its packaging must be intact.

How to Return or Exchange:
1. Please send us an e-mail to: orders@revilotoys.co.uk letting us know what you are sending back to us and if you can, why? Please also state if you are looking for a full or partial refund or exchange and your original Revilo Toys Order Number, you will find this at the top of the confirmation e-mail you received from us when you placed the order and on the order confirmation / invoice we send with your delivery.

2. Please box up your return carefully (you can re-use the box we sent the goods to you in), send the parcel to:

3. Please take your parcel(s) to your nearest post office. We recommend that you send returns by recorded post. Always retain proof of postage. Goods are returned to Revilo Toys at your own expense.

4. We will e-mail you to confirm your return has been processed. You will receive your refund credit, or cheque or exchange order (when in stock) within 2 to 3 weeks after you post the goods back to us.
Please note that refunds bought as presents can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to swap an item, we cannot stop the payer knowing.

Legal Statements on Returns:
Returning any item within 7 days will be taken as notice of cancellation of your order (or relevant part of your order). Goods are provided to you on approval and legal title to the goods will not pass to you until the 30 day post-delivery period has expired. On receipt of the returned goods, Revilo Toys will give you a full refund of the amount paid for the goods (but not the postage) or an exchange credit as required. You must, however, return the goods to Revilo Toys on cancellation in order to receive a full refund or exchange. When returning goods on which you have received a discount/offer, that discount/offer will no longer apply if you fall below the discount/offer threshold and the refund will be adjusted accordingly. Orders collected from Revilo Toys incur no handling charge. Your statutory rights on returns are not affected.

Pricing policy and product representation
Prices are valid at the time of order but Revilo Toys reserves the right to changes its prices at any time it chooses without warning or explanation. Every care has been taken to portray and describe products accurately. However, the descriptions for each product are written by the directors and employees of Revilo Toys. They are therefore solely the opinions and observations of those individuals and cannot be used against Revilo Toys in any way. We try incredibly hard to make sure our product pictures and descriptions portray a realistic view to you our customers and help you understand more about each product in the light of the fact that you cannot actually pick products up and play with them yourself.

Revilo Toys total liability for any claim howsoever arising shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by Revilo Toys to the customer and excludes any postage costs incurred. Revilo Toys shall not be liable for any consequential customer loss whether this arises from a breach of duty in contract or in any other way. Revilo Toys cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with specific instructions stated on its website. Customers' statutory rights are not affected by this statement.
